This 5-day/40-hour course is designed for Law Enforcement, Dispatch/Communications, Detention/Corrections, FTOs, CTOs, DTO's and other Public Safety Personnel.
Training is accredited through the NMLEA and meets Basic Instructor Requirements for General Instructor Certification.
Course Focus:
Acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities to develop and deliver instructional courses and materials to law enforcement and public safety personnel using current, effective, and practical teaching methodology.

Students must attend 100% of the class, conduct several short public speaking assignments, develop a lesson plan and visual aids for a final graded presentation and pass a written exam in order to receive a certificate of completion to meet LEA requirements.
